A New Creative Route

Recently, I have been working on a youth production of 'Bugsy Malone', this time I wasn't in the cast. Instead I chose to do the lighting for the show. It's being performed in a school so there's not a great deal of available lighting that we can use but even so, it's an amazing thing and yesterday we did a tech rehearsal which looked really good with tech and was fun for me to do throughout because I was able to familiarise myself with the controls of the lighting desk.

It was also nice, the fact that I got to chose come of what I wanted for certain scenes too like a lighting director would in professional theatre, so it was a nice opportunity.
